German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) Longterm Lecturer in ‘Marine Sciences’ at the Bogor Agricultural University
My decision to assume the position as DAAD Longterm Lecturer in Marine Sciences at the Bogor Agricultural University was motivated by my aim to forge a personal network and to gain regional expertise in Southeast Asia. My intention behind this is to prepare myself for future opportunities to professionally engage in the internationalization of the German and the EU scientific landscape – with a specific focus on links to the emergent ASEAN region.
The DAAD Longterm Lectureship gives me the opportunity to ideally combine the expertise I have gained in my previous professions as science manager, researcher, and promoter of early-career scientists.
